Tammy Vondra

Specializing in outsourced accounting and financial management consulting services, Tammy joined Fischer Cunnane in 2018 as an Account Manager in the Client Advisory Services Group. With more than 20 years of experience, Tammy works with privately held companies to streamline and implement process and procedures, and provides tax services to various corporations, partnerships, non-profits and individuals.

“In unpredictable times, one thing clients can count on is the value of hiring a fractional CFO or controller,” says Tammy. “It’s a collaborative approach that frees clients’ time so they can focus on their primary goal— to build their businesses.”

As a Deaf child, Tammy faced numerous challenges including her unique journey to become a CPA. Her story was featured in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Certified Public Accountant Professional Journeys, Vol 2. She continues to inspire others who are Deaf to prepare for the CPA exam and become CPAs.

Tammy earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Rochester Institute of Technology and her MBA at Saint Joseph’s University. She and her husband of thirty years, Michael, who is also Deaf, have three children. Their son works in the marketing field and both daughters are pursuing careers in the medical fields—one as a biomedical engineer and the other is studying neuroscience with plans to become an audiologist.
