Richard Giordano

With nearly two decades of experience at Fischer Cunnane, Rich provides tax planning and preparation services for individuals, corporations, partnerships and not-for-profit organizations. He also manages accounting and auditing services for closely held companies and not-for-profit organizations throughout a wide variety of industries.

In addition, Rich is experienced in performing Yellow Book and Uniform Guidance Audits as well as audits of qualified retirement plans including defined benefit and 401(k) plans.

Clients often engage Rich to set up the ideal financial infrastructure for their organizations to ensure systems are based on what’s important to them from the start. This often includes streamlining QuickBooks® integration as well as guiding the transition to online bookkeeping.

Rich launched his career with Fischer Cunnane in 2000 as an intern. After serving in several leadership roles, he was named a shareholder in 2013. He guides clients on a wide range of issues, whether it involves the complexities of a contractor’s percentage of completion accounting, managing product costs in a manufacturing environment, guiding a lawyer on how to achieve tax efficiency, or advising a not-for-profit client on maintaining compliance with grant programs.

As Fischer Cunnane’s Director of Technology, Rich oversees the selection and implementation of information systems that allow the firm to efficiently deliver accounting and tax services. He also serves as a member of the firm’s Accounting & Auditing Quality Control Committee.

Rich is a native of Philadelphia and resides in Thornton, PA, where he and his wife Kate are raising their three children.
